Peter A. Hahn Joins Margolis & Bloom

Peter_HahnAttorney Hahn is now Of Counsel to Margolis & Bloom, LLP. The focus of his practice at the firm is special education law. He also represents clients in student discipline, juvenile delinquency, and civil litigation matters, criminal cases involving people with disabilities, and Department of Children and Families investigations and appeals.

“My goal is to provide a voice for the people who are least likely to be heard in our legal system,” says Hahn. “Children and people with disabilities are too often disregarded, and I take pride in making sure my clients are respected.”

“We are delighted that Peter will round out our special education practice,” Margolis & Bloom Managing Partner Harry S. Margolis said. "With Ellen Chambers providing special education advocacy and Peter taking on cases that involve litigation, our clients will be represented by leading advocates energetically and economically."

Hahn regularly speaks at seminars and conferences on issues related to education and the justice system, including for the Asperger’s Association of New England, the Federation for Children with Special Needs, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is actively involved in the Massachusetts Bar Association, serving as chair of the Juvenile and Child Welfare Section Council for the past two years.

Hahn is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and a cum laude graduate of Boston University School of Law. He is a former science teacher and judicial law clerk in the Massachusetts Juvenile Court.
